ISIS Blood-thirsty Islamic militants have released a sick new execution video showing a 19-year-old Syrian soldier being run over by an armoured tank.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the soldier, dressed in an orange jumpsuit, was forced to confess driving over the dead bodies of jihadis with a tank.

 An ISIS fighter, dressed in white, tells the camera the soldier's punishment is to be run over by a tank while he is alive.

In the horrifying video clip, the 19-year-old Fadi Ammar Zidan, who was handcuffed and placed in the middle of a road and was run over by the tank.

The video ends with shots of his lifeless body.

In a shocking revelation, a lecturer in Kwara state, is currently working as a bricklayer at a building site over non-payment of 6-months salary in the state. 

A Nigerian blogger, Doris Nwaokike, has exclusively revealed the hardship of Mr. Kayode, a lecturer at the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, who in order to get his daily bread, currently works as a bricklayer at an ongoing building site.

 

He resorted to this so that hunger, occasioned by the Kwara State's government inability to pay his salary for 6 months running, won't send him to an early grave. He allegedly earns N1500 per day.

According to Gulf News, the man said that he thought something was wrong with his bride after witnessing a series of incidents. He claimed that on their first day together, the curtains of the flat where they went to spend their honeymoon came down on the floor and the waiter who was serving them when they went out for their first dinner slipped and fell.

He added that when they returned to the flat, the bottle of perfume he was holding also fell on the floor when he told his bride that it had a great smell, Saudi news site Al Marsad reported.

The man thought that all the falls that occurred after the marriage were a negative sign and that his wife was going to be bad luck in his life, and decided to divorce her. The next day, he took her to her family’s home and told her parents that he was divorcing her.

However, social media users criticised the man for his attitude.

"Does he think that marriage is such a trivial matter," one blogger, Competent, asked.

"Does he think that you can marry a woman and divorce her so easily over such trivial matters? He obviously needs help. He should not be allowed to play with people’s emotions as per his wishes."

Yara, another user, said that the groom acted in a dramatically nonsensical manner.

"The reason for the divorce is so frivolous and in fact reflects how limited his mind is," she posted. "If he associates eyes with terrible signs, then he should talk with her and see what can be done, not divorce her."

Another blogger congratulated the bride on her “lucky escape” from a strange groom.

"Maybe he should consider that he may be the reason for the incidents,” he said. "The woman is obviously lucky to move out of the life of an obsessed man with a sick mind."

For a blogger writing under the moniker of Falkon, the grounds cited by the husband for the divorce did not make sense.

"This is utter nonsense and the reason is not logical at all,” he said. “We know there are some omens related to the eyes, but we also know there are prayers people say to keep the evil eye away."

Stanbic IBTC Chairman, Others Suspended Over Irregularities

The chairman of Stanbic IBTC bank, Peterside Atedo, alongside the bank’s managing director, Sola David-Borha, KPMG’s Arthur Oginga and Daru Owei, has been suspended by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria over accounting irregularities in the bank’s 2013 and 2014 financial statements.

 

According to a statement released by the council on Monday, they were suspended for attesting to 'misleading'financial statements, and would remain suspended till investigations are concluded.

 

The council pointed out several inconsistencies in the bank’s reporting, including IBTC’s failure or refusal to disclose what exactly millions of naira grouped under 'donations' and 'others' were used for.

 

In one instance, the total fee IBTC bank paid to KPMG Professional Services for non-audit services was found to be inconsistent with what was disclosed in the financial statements for the years under review, the council said.

"The Council observed that Stanbic IBTC regularly flouts CBN regulations. In 2014 for instance, a total penalty of N28,000,000 was imposed on the group.

Stanbic IBTC seems to have a penchant for poor disclosures which further corroborates the findings in this report," the statement said.

 

The council instructed the directors of Stanbic IBTC to withdraw the Financial Statements of and restate them in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Former President, Goodluck Jonathan, who is currently leading a delegation of Commonwealth election observers to Tanzania, has urged those vying for the country’s presidential election to promptly accept the outcome should they be defeated in the October 25 election. "If you lose, accept defeat," he admonished them. He also warned that any attempt to reject the will of the people will only lead to chaos and affect the peace and unity of Tanzania. 

The ex president, who has been speaking with election stakeholders in Dar es Salaam, comprising the chairman of the electoral commission, leaders of political parties, journalists, youth organizations and the civil society, said it was imperative for them to realize that all stakeholders must play their part for the election to be free and fair.

He told them that he immediately accepted defeat after losing his re-election bid early this year because he did not want personal ambition to derail democracy in Nigeria, stressing that he was not ready to allow his "personal ambition to scuttle a democratic system I had helped to nurture."

"In any election, there are winners and losers. The presidential candidate who loses on Sunday should gracefully concede the election to avert a political crisis."

Tanzania’s two leading national newspapers, The Guardian and The Citizen, which have been celebrating the former Nigerian leader since his arrival on Monday, quoted him as saying:

 

"If all parties, including the national electoral commission, political parties, and police force will play their role, nothing will stop Tanzania to record a free and fair election this year. Successful elections will depend on how each stakeholder plays his or her role to ensure a peaceful, inclusive and transparent electoral process…I’m confident Tanzanians will achieve this."

Men Wahala! This LUTH Female Doctor Dies From Domestic Violence

The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, was thrown into mourning on Thursday, following  the death of a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon, Dr Hestianna Thomas, according to The Nation.

Her death was discussed in hushed tone by workers. The mother of two is believed to have been a victim of domestic violence. Some women described her as a compassionate doctor who helped saved their children’s lives.

It was gathered that the late Dr Thomas, whose husband is a Consultant Clinical Pathologist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, reported for duty three days ago, until she was brought in yesterday to LUTH battered.

A source said: “A close examination of her body revealed a lot of lacerations.

“In fact, I noticed that the head had a deep cut. When other colleagues also saw her, they said there was a deep cut on her skull, because they saw pierced bone.
