As speculated, Kendall Jenner has officially confirmed that indeed her nipple is pierced! But the reason behind it may not be what you think…

Thanks to a fairly thin piece of white fabric that required Kendall Jenner to ditch the bra, the world has got a pretty clear view of what looked like body jewelry on the 19-year-old's breast.

 

When asked about the shocking accessory, Kendall simply explained that she was going through a rebellious phase.

The brunette beauty told Page Six on Friday while celebrating the launch of her new Estée Lauder fragrance "Modern Muse Le Rouge" at Macy's in New York City, "It is true. I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like ‘Let's just do it."

 

However, just because she was feeling a little gutsy doesn't mean she wasn't afraid of what she was getting herself into. "[I was] so terrified, I'm laying on the bed like ‘Why am I doing this. Honestly, it hurt, but wasn't as bad as everyone made it seem and maybe because everyone hyped it up and I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn't as bad as I expected."

 

Kendall's rebellious move is yet another connection to her younger sister Kylie Jenner, who once posted a photo that suggested she decided to get her nipples pierced too, posing with her hands up and circling her breasts on the Snapchat app while writing, "new jewelry in other secret areas."
