A clergy, one Pastor Matthew Asuquo, has narrated his
ordeal in the hands of an alleged notorious woman in his street whom he said is
a well-known trouble maker in the area.
Asuquo claims, Jane (the woman) has been fomenting
trouble with his family for months. In a few of her attitudes, Jane allegedly
stabbed Asuquo’s wife in the head.
Another incident occurred months later when Jane stabbed
Asuquo’s daughter in the neck. Previous effort by Asuquo to get Ajeromi Police
Command involved in the matter has proved abortive.
Asuquo family alleged that Jane is always released hours
after her arrest, as she always ended up confronting the family, while also
threatening more troubles and boasting of being untouchable.
The last incident, according to Asuquo family, occurred when
Asuquo’s only son, Emma, a 21-year-old, was set ablaze by Jane with help from
her husband and her uncle.
Emma is critically lying in the hospital, while the
parents are seeking justice through the petition below
