REVEALLED: Why Jonathan Is Silent Over Buhari's Threat Of Probe

Following the ongoing vow by President Mohammadu Buhai that he will restrict the prodube he vowed to just former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration, not a few Nigerians, especially staunch Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members have raised an eyebrow, accusing Buhari of witch-hunting the former leader. But it has been revealed that Jonathan's silence in the whole brouhaha is not really intended. There is a serious angle to the whole development. From information we scooped from Yenagoa, where the former leader is hybernating, it was revealed that Jonathan entered into secret agreement with Buhari even before the conclusion of the presidential election. The details of the agreement was that while the President will threatene and later soft-pedal on the alleged probe of Jonathan's administration, the latter will willingly hand over power to him. A close member of the All Progressives Congress (APC)from the South East, who was a former sena revealed during a get-together party in Victoria Island in Lagos on Tuesday that what people may not know is that the threat of probe by Buhari is just a gimmick, saying the two leaders communicate almost on the daily basis. "What people may not fully understand is the workings of government in this part of the world. Which probe? We are here taliking of two leaders, who are daily communicating and reassuring themselves of their earlier agreements. Buhari's interest is to develop the country fast as against probes that may not see the light of the day at last. "You know Jonthan is not a talking type, so he is keeping quiet because he know what he agreed with the President. Peopler like Tinubu and Amaechi do not know what I'm telling you." The APC stalwart said but for very big begging and lobbying going on in Aso Rock, former Governor Rotimi Amaechi may not be considered for any political appointment having been found to be corrupt. "See let me tell you, Buhari is not open to making Amaechi minister or giving him any other post because the President said he is corrupt. "But as am telling you now, we are sure he will change his mind because people like Tinubu are begging on his behalf. To Buhari, Amaechi is not trustworthy going by the way he betrayed Peter Odili."
